I hope you are all getting along well! Even though it seems rainy and grey outside, maybe you are playing with TOYS!!!
Let’s do some writing about TOYS!! Yay!! You can choose to do one from below…or all! Whatever you think!
FIRST Write the first letter of your ten toy words and draw a picture of each toy.
SECOND Write out your ten toy words.
THIRD Write out your ten toy words and then write the list words in a sentence.

This weeks journal entry will be about your house!! How fun, since we have all been spending a lot of time in our houses!!! You will be using the list words and any other words you know to write about your house!!
First Write 3 house words and draw pictures of them.
Second Pick one room in your house and write 3 sentences about it.
Third Write 3 or more *good* sentences about your house. You can talk about what you do in that room? Who is in that room with you? What colors are in that room? What you like/dislike about that room or your house? What house items do you use a lot? What you are doing in your house during this time while we are not in school?
Try to sound out your words and do your best!!!!!!!!!

SECOND Pick a room in your house and draw it. Try and draw all the house items you know in that room.
THIRD Pick a room in your house and draw it. Then write 3-5 sentences about that room. (What you like in that room. What you do in that room. Who uses that room?)

Find & count as many of the house vocabulary words as possible in your house. Write them down.
SECOND Find & count as many of the house vocabulary words as possible in your house. Then challenge yourself: pick one room and see how many items you can name in that one room.
THIRD Find & count as many of the house vocabulary words as possible in your house. Then challenge yourself: pick one room and see how many items you can name in that one room. Try and write them down by sounding them out. (Use the other vocabulary lists to help)
Just some work you can do around your house. It’s almost like a scavenger hunt!
Have fun with this!!! I bet you know more house vocabulary than you think!!! Try counting some of the items that you have a lot of, like spoons or towels.

Just a note regarding the survey! I basically created it to see how everyone was doing, and to make sure everyone had access to the blog! FIRST Think of a time when you felt HAPPY and draw it.
SECOND No think of a time when you were SAD, ANGRY, HUNGRY, and draw those!
THIRD Draw 3 different feelings you have had before. Write 1 or 2 sentences about it: why did you feel that way?

How is everyone feeling today!?
FIRST
Choose at least 5 different emotions and ask a family member to make the face of that emotion.
EXAMPLE: If the word is “happy”, the person would smile!
Or you can look in a mirror and think of your list words and show yourself how you look when you make that face!
SECOND DRAW their faces and write the emotion word that matches
Just a reminder that the list word link I gave you has 12 emotions. You only need to choose 10!

Let’s do some writing about FEELINGS & EMOTIONS! How are you feeling!? Choose the level the at which you want to work at. You can decide to do one…or if you can do all of them, go for it!!!
FIRST Write the first letter of your ten emotion words and draw a picture of each letter.
SECOND Write out your ten ‘emotion’ words.
THIRD Write out your ten’ emotion’ words and then write 5 sentences using your words.

SECOND Find and count as many of the food list words as possible (in your house). Then find and count foods that come in cans. Then find 5 foods that are green, 4 that are brown, 3 that are white, 2 that are yellow, 1 that is orange.
THIRD Find and count as many of the food list words as possible (in your house). Then find and count foods that come in cans. Then find food in paper boxes. *Write 5 sentences about what food you found in your house.
Just fun, you can check out the game below! If you can, print and play with dice and buttons or coins. If you cannot print the game, you can still play by using your computer screen and practice speaking!
